This website was originally built as a way to quickly showcase work that prospective employers could review. It&#8217;s still useful for that, but clearly way out of date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m working for Block, building internal tools using AI (both as part of our tools, and as tools to build our tools). I&#8217;m a prompt monkey who is consuming large amounts of generated code in an effort to try to maintain certain architectural awareness, understanding, and protection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I see the usefulness of AI in certain domains. I do not see it for other domains. I do not use it for writing copy, but do use it for writing code. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m 23 years into this industry now and always learning more about code, business, process, and just getting work done. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m still here.
